The Store is dead

Freeview channel the store has finally kicked the bucket

I think it was about time because the channel was showing nothing but a card saying that it was closed and that it would reopen later at 3am showing only 2 hours of programming before it closed down for the morning

so what's your views

Seems a bit ironic that The Store, which started off as the teleshopping strand on ITV, has now closed, just as teleshopping seems set to return to ITV, with the end of Jackpot 247.

With Jackpot24/7 ending shortly - Does anybody know roughly how much a Teleshopping spot costs on ITV nighttime. I know Jackpot use to get around 8-10K viewers. So Can't imagine they paid more than £1k-£2k per hour.

Never heard of it myself, won’t be missed as if I really wanted teleshopping now I could just get up early and go to Film4 or something.

Call me old fashioned, I’d just go on Amazon

Yes what we really need to replace a televised fake casino overnight on ITV is more ways to buy memory foam mattresses, glorified paint rollers, and miracle grills that can cook a complete family meal in 20 seconds!

*sigh* if only there was something like Night Network, or even rolling ITV News.

I wish there was a service that I could watch TV programmes I actually like at 3am.
