Original this is not but once it hit rock bottom with reports of zero viewers they kind of threw caution to the wind and found their confidence and for what it is it does it quite well. They do seem have started frequently doing features on small businesses which is something the others don't.

Looking at the schedule it isn't even the same time either - 2:25pm rather than 2:10pm!

The duty announcer acknowledged at the end of Countdown that it wouldn’t be in both the same time nor the same place. If the Cricket had been bought further in advance, more than likely they wouldn’t have bothered recording 3x episodes of Countdown, as they have done with F1 in the past.

Have people noticed any improvement in this show? Just caught a bit for the first time in months and Katie Price was speaking for what felt like a good 10 minutes with the caption 'Living with 2 Broken Feet'.
I have to say, working from home as many of us are, I find myself turning on the telly while I have my lunch. This show is definitely the most appealing to me out of the options in this time slot! It’s not bad.
I’m guessing that’s the kind of audience they are hoping to be able to grow - the new WFH audience, rather than those who would be at home anyway and already have their established routines.
