Steph's Packed Lunch

So The Steph Show is consigned to history and Steph is now in a studio in Leeds with essentially This Morning Extra.

Seems a nice studio - is it at the new C4 HQ? A small audience of around a dozen who it seems will contribute to the show, although they need to mic them up.

I believe the HQ itself is at the Majestic but they've opened up a studio there:

I think the studio in use is Leeds Dock. Majestic is in the city centre.

Have they replaced the London ITN update with the One O'Clock "Views"?

The midday C4 News has moved to 11:30 according to the Sky EPG.

It’s better than The Steph Show but it looks and feels like a This Morning rip-off although given the series editor is Vivek Sharma who was deputy editor on This Morning, it’s not too surprising.

Watching on +1. I like it, but it’s not exactly must-see. It just feels like it’s missing something - being on Channel 4 I think I want it to be a bit more anarchic, it’s all a bit safe so far. Hopefully it finds its feet though.

Probably could have done with being kept to an hour until it found it's feet.

I'm not sure if it'll be able to gain traction against BBC One and ITV, it's not different enough.

Although there were mic issues so we don't know any more then that...

Looks like they're using one of the units on Leeds Dock that had previously been (or still is?) a bar - Dock 29.

In fact, the "kitchen" bit is pretty much where the actual bar was/is!
