Start of yesterday's News 24 Breakfast

I noticed this morning that BBC1 didn't start up at 6am and opt out for an ident. Instead they stayed throughout the junction with News 24, with the countdown appearing on BBC1

Is this the usual done thing when Breakfast comes from News 24 at weekends [and Bank Holidays]?

Yes. On BBC ONE's Dancers Launch day (Good Friday) we stayed with News 24 for Breakfast before the first Ident at 9am.

EDIT: On Saturday there is an ident, but only because there is a channel change to BBC TWO at 6am.
