Not sure how true this is but if it is then it's going to be a hybrid of You Bet! and Stars In Their Eyes!

Will be interesting to see who they get to host it. Jason Manford, Stephen Mulhern or Rylan are the best bets?

Is it a straight revival this time, unlike the Harry Hill one, which was basically a piss take?

I suggested a straight-revival of Stars In Their Eyes as an X Factor replacement several months ago. I think it's a good call.

You’d want someone with that warmth with the public, just like Matthew Kelly had.

Bradley Walsh springs to mind. Maybe even Cat Deeley will make her UK return? She’s very similar to Tess Daly in style.

Either way I’m glad ITV have completely forgotten about Harry Hill’s remake and can see potential in the series again.

WHY the celebrity judging panel?!

I don't object to having a judging panel. I think it would suit the show well.

I can see Rylan hosting this.

Harry Hill’s version was ok. I remember him saying “your not watching challenge itv really did bring back stars in their eyes”. and look how that ended.

I thought Harry’s version was good.
