I liked it when they did the lottery (Lottery Good Luck Stories with Carol Smilie?) from what looked to me very much like the current reception area before the News Centre was up and running.

Talking of that reception centre, what is it thats down the escelator near the doors to the corridor? Im sure I wasnt imagining it, but I cant think what would need and escelator to get to it when I havent seen them elsewhere at TVC

Definetly happened tonight. I've just been to the bar where the end of series party is about to be held. I'll go and raid the free booze later !

I noticed that on tonight's episode of Star For A Night at about 7:40pm, we couldn't all get the sound (well I couldn't).

I wonder what happened there... Confused

Yeah the sound was not working at 7:40 PM for Star for a night.

I was waiting to record the theme tune for it - i started the tape then 3 secs later stoped it.

The Sound Man must have been asleep.

Another BBC Mistake.

I am gonna start a mistakes page just write up things.

Oops! I missed Star For A Night tonite - can someone tell me who actually won?
I wanted the bloke who got through singing 'Lean On Me' to win - anyone know the result?

Mr. Lean On Me (sorry, forgot his name) won with 150,000ish votes I think and belted the song out at the end.

I thought there was something wrong with my tv when the sound didn't come on at 7.40. I half hoped for them to hand back to BBC One Presentation and say something like 'Well due to the nature of Star For a Night, we obviously can't go back to them until we return the sound!'

Ughhhh, another show I detest. Star for a Night is a complete rip off of Star's In Their Eyes and any other talent show that's ever been done. Jane McDonald is a lousy presenter, the panel is full of gushing celebrities, the only one that tells any of the acts the truth is that guy on the end with the beard. Barbara Windsor never has a bad word to say about anybody. But the worst thing is after all the acts we suffer Jane McDonald murdering a popular song, it's at this point that we realise that she is about as ordinary as all the acts that preceeded her, but she never has to answer to the panel.
