Did anyone notice that they messed up the first round? For the question "Name something that can be used to wash a car with" (or something like that), Kym Rider's mum said a Bucket of Water, Water is revealed on the board, but at the end one of the missing answers was revealed to be a Bucket. Something not right about that too me, and as it's a game for charity, it makes it all the worse.

I noticed that as well. I guess as she said a combination of both those answers they just took the one which was higher up on the board.
I think the new opening titles are an improvement.

Les Bean? Now I thought the man who kept saying Turkey back in the 80s was worse. (that's not sarcasm by the way before anyone asks)

How come yesterday's Family Fortunes only had 4 rounds??? Last year, the show had 5 rounds - 3 rounds of "Single Money" and 2 rounds of "Double Money". I noticed the phrase "Single Money" wasn't used last night and the 5h round had been deleted - so we didn't get chace to meet the 5th person in each other's family.
Why was this? Is it because the show is 5 minutes shorter than it was last year? That's no excuse thougj - Les Dennis used to be able to ram in 5 rounds in 25 minutes!
Still, the show was enjoyable though...

It's most probably as they have too much on next Saturday with the specials that they have on, but maybe they prefer it to be on Christmas Day, strange that it's so early, I'd have personnally put it on after the polar express, and what an odd choice to air a documentary after the Queen's speech. It does seem like a good documentary, but maybe it should air the Sunday before?
And is 6 points the lowest ever score on family fortunes as seen last night?

I love the theme tune and execution of the intro, so simple, yet effective.

I have found FF unwatchable ever since Les Dennis took over.
It wasn't his presentation style I had a problem with, it was the tacky metallic 3D graphics and overblown music I couldn't stand.
Unfortunately this latest version is even worse.
This is, at its heart, a tacky 70s US gameshow. Trying to tart it up doesn't work -- back to basics IMO.

Where as I and I think many think that it has regenerated the programme. To me the 90's felt very dated with the screen especially.
Now they've brought it up to date, but also added the cheese value back that doesn't take itself too seriously.
