On our Sky instead of saying the programme that was on which was ASFF, it said ITV Weather. When you press the 'i' button it said 'episode 85'.. what's that all about?!

Here it was listed as ASFF (on ITV Anglia W) but then changed to ITV Weather a few minutes before the show end. It then changed to X Factor at the apropriate time. Prehaps a last minute change to the schedules, or maybe an error with the EPG system?

I thought it was quite good but it would be better if it wasnt celeb's and their families.

Didn't FF once have a multicoloured screen once before - during Les' early series????? Then went back to the more user friendly Mr Babbage big screen??

IMHO I'd love to see the big wall screen mimcik Mr Babbage rather than what we now have - or is it that I am more of a traditionalist/conservative (with a small c!!).

Everything else of the show was good and Vernon was actually quite a good presenter for the show - but please take it back to 30 minutes, drop the family montage at the beginning and use real families instead of celebrities and their families - for the next series!

Yes, just bring back the British public!

Once again, I agree with Brekkie, they have to decide whether they are taking this show seriously or not. Look what's happened to Price is Right - just the host and the theme tune have now made it seem unreal.

Yes. Les Dennis' first series used a full colour gameboard. The original was reinstated in the next series.

When was watching ASFF last night, the new screen vaguely reminded me of that version, from 1987 I believe, but that version looked very 80's.

Anyway I watched ASFF last night, and I didn't think it was that bad, we got the old SFX, it I guess was more for a laugh than a serious comeback. It was enjoyable, but not a patch on Les Dennis.

But far better than Andy Collins...

Why does Vernon Kay have to keep saying "Our Survey Says/Said" during the main rounds? Bob, Max, Les or Andy never said that until Big Money.

Yes they did, all the time.

No they didn't. They'd just repeat the answer given and the board would give the response.

There were many times when he turned round and used the phrase 'our survey said' - can't find any examples though

Before you all go getting ahead of yourselves, remember Vernon reads a script, not says what he wants apart from the odd remark here and there...

Did anyone else physically cringe during I'Anson's prize voiceovers? The woman sounds positively manic! I think the updated scoreboard was necessary and expected, but I felt it was a step backwards as it appeared smaller on screen than the old one. To appease the traditionalists, they could have used modern screens but recreate the old style in graphics, adding the odd whooshy effect here and there.

Despite being a comeback of a good show and the fact it's a game show and not 24-7 Jungle coverage, I liked this. I remember the older celebrity versions of the game, and I think that's how it should be if ITV wnat to overuse celebs - stick them on a gameshow!
