(And for old times sakes, the original opening sequence from the Bob Monkhouse era.)

My snide remark aside - that has to be the best opening line to a new series ever. God Bless Bob.

The new titles are quite good with Vernon bouncing about getting zapped in the backside by a star before kicking it off into the logo, along with the usual round names in the background. Also a nifty version of the theme too.

And here is the new theme...

Apologies for the low quality...

and the end of the titles...

Hmm I'm not sure I like that music. It's not very gameshowy, and it's too different to the original. Titles look ok though, so maybe it'll all work together.

These are my favourite titles, but for some reason they weren't used for long...

Hmm, can't see the Family Fortunes dance being done to that revamped theme. Very tacky isn't it? Confused

yes i hate it when they mask the original tune, by jazzing it up somewhat.

They have masked the new theme tune and now it dosn't sound alot like the old one. Though the new theme tune is quite cachy, I prefer the old one.

I adore the 1980's theme. Was the US version similar?

The trails for the celeb version look bloody awful.

Clip Happily borrowed from TV Whirl. Hmm, there's been an awful change of approach from people on the forum these days too I must say. In days of old, when people used to set up sites with clips borrowed from other sites, they were ignored or ridiculed (anyone remember Maxillian?). When Youtube's userbase does it, they're encouraged. Ah well, their loss in the end. Razz
