Thanks. For some reason i was thinking it was in the Manchester Studios.

Seems a very long gap between filming and it going on air though.

There is a picture of him on the show in the book though - strange it being published well after it was filmed, yet before it was shown!

What a pathetically long gap between filming and broadcast - I agree with previous poster.

Apparently Vernon Kay is donned as the new Brucie. Time will tell m'loves...

It wouldn't surprise me if they've ditched the brassy theme tune for a completely new one.

Its like the old version but much more jazzed up..I like it!

More interestingly why is it on so early? 16:55 is not really primetime on a Saturday night!

I wonder if it's not really that good? Hence the poor timeslot and being on the shelf so long?

Surely it should be aired at 7pm on a Saturday!!!!

From what I've seen on the advert, it certainly won't be 'Must See TV' as far as I'm concerned. I think it should have gone in WWTBAM's slot though. Quite frankly, Millionaire needs to be axed, or at least given a teatime Saturday night slot. It ain't working in primetime.

Moyles mentioned on his show the day after recording that Vernon had to re-record his intro to the show at then end, because Chris claimed the producer said that edition was so good they would were going to switch the order (originally it was going to be show 4 or 5) to the series opener.

He also said the audience were told there was going to be a long gap between recording and transmission.

Interestingly, the News of the World Sunday TV mag has Family Fortunes down at 7pm. Obviously, these listings are done in advance. I wonder why the change of heart?

To be honest I've never taken the NOTW TV Mag listings as gospel - they're wrong almost every week. It seems they just hazard a guess at what the broadcasters will schedule in primetime and hope for the best!

7pm on a weeknight would have been better! Wink
