Anyone know how the interactive game worked on Sky?

And whatever you think of the likes of quiz channels, you've got to admit that Family Fortunes is one format that could really work if adapted for ITV Play.

Brekkie, i do like you - we seem to have similar views, but you do come across sometimes that only YOU are right and that everyone has to link hands and agree or be forever lost in the Welsh mountains.

I have to wonder whether Mr Kay will have his own FF catchphrase, like Les Dennis' "If it's up there I'll give you the money myself", and Max Bygraves' "Where do they get these families from?!". I hope it's just a simple case of work in progress and that the cheese factor stops smelling so bad as time goes by. That prize sting for the golf equipment was both cheesy and embarrassing to watch. I don't know what the problem was with Sky +. I set it to record last night and it only recorded the first 30 minutes.

So I tried for the repeat this morning on ITV2 and was greeted with 20 minutes of Millionaire before the 40 minutes of the programme. I got to see that the cotton's went through but didn't see big brother because of Sky, and ITV.

I thought Saturday's All Star Family Fortunes was class! Vernon Kay did a superb job at presenting, the new studio was great, I don't mind the new scoreboard and still the stupid answers by the general public keep coming and coming.

All in all, a very good effort. 100 times better than Andy Collins' FF and not that far behind Les' FF. I shall definitely watch the next show if I'm in!!!

Inicidentally, has anyone been surveyed for a Family Fortunes show before? I've never been stopped in the street and been asked:-

"Name something you would normally do in the dark?"

So how do they get all these answers back for the shows? Or do they make them all up? Confused:

they visit old people's homes and children's nurseries all over the country Wink

that is why they get really sensible answers

if it's celebrity families why are the Battersby's on, they're a ficticious family.

Hey guys, have any of you noticed that in the Double Money round, they don't actually double the money?

Yes they do. but controversially, rather than do the doubling on the board, they do it up the bank up the top.

the last one is on saturday with the Battersbys verses the Windsors.

can't work out why they have Maria and kirk playing with the battersbys, instead of Fizz and Chesney

Well Chesney is too young for starters, and Kirk lives with the Battersby Browns and Maria is his sister.

Maybe Fizz was unavailable, dilemma solved.

I can understand them having Kirk there as he lives with the Battersby's and is like part of the family. However why Maria? She might be Kirk's sister but how many scenes do they ever get together? She gets more scenes with Fizz than Kirk.
