Just watching "Stand up for the Midlands" on Sky+ now, seems to be little Midlands bias, I wonder if the "opt out" was the same programme in all the regions that took it and if so, why they didn't just show it nationally?

This was already mentioned in the BBC One thread. I believe the programme was the same in all regions that showed it, apart from the ident and the opening titles which were region specific.

Did this get shown in the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire (ie Hull) region or just Yorkshire (Leeds)? The EPG suggested it was, however it was preceded by a Yorkshire ident. Harry Gration is only seen on the Superleague show in Y&L, so describing him as "Look North presenter" would have looked strange in the East.

Surprised BBC Midlands didn't use their own 'jokemeister' Nick Owen?

(Would've pleased Katherine at least!)
