They've been in use for a while - they do seem to be giving it quite a big push this time so it'll be interesting to see how it does. Last time I think it rated really badly but did quite respectably donation wise.
This time they've dropped C4 News on Friday to give it a 7pm launch (the news moves to More 4). Annoyingly they've broken up the EPG into segments and not linked them so you have to record them all individually.
The strand though does lead to some interesting warnings on the EPG - I know Deal or No Deal has had a couple of tweaks this year but didn't realise it needed a warning for "Gratuitous Nudity / Scenes of Surgery / Sexual Content".
I think they raised around £8 million last time. It looks like they've planned a lot more and taken inspiration from comic relief and children in need with filmed sections and specials of favourites.
It's good to see that they're going for the 7pm - 2am telethon. A good way to push it. ITV haven't realised this with text Santa yet.
Where is Stand up to Cancer filmed tonight?? Is it in a studio or are the surrounding seats permanent? because it looks great! I want something like it for either the voice or X Factor!

It seems to get the size balance right being bigger than a studio but smaller than an arena. They appear to have used the space well and have seperate areas for many features. They're aiming high - it has a comic relief feel to it already imo.

There are some new orange break bumpers for this evening...
Thought this warranted it's own thread to ask the question where is it coming from.
Does seem to have a half decent line up tonight including Celebrity Googlebox (with actual celebs), Andy Murray: The Movie and the likes of Chatty Man and Last Leg thrown in.

A church, Methodist Central Hall Westminster (across the road from Westminister Abbey)
They seem to be getting the mix right at the moment.
They are using the building well, and there appear to be many big names over here to help out rather than just opting to do a pre record.
