With it going head to head live with late-night Big Brother Live on C4 from later this week, I can predict the headlines already if Springwatch manage to outrate them.

Okay, if you know anyone with a BARB box, you **MUST** press/bully/blackmail them into having the box register them watching SW:NS while BBL is on!

Yes, that was very sad...

The programme itself is almost a bit surreal, but perhaps that's just because it's something a bit different and new. It might not be overally as 'exciting' as BB, but admittedly if SW NS did go through the night it would surely offer more action for its time of day, as while some animals would be going about their business, the only thing you'd see on the live BB is a shot of a housemate snoring...
