Well unrelated to this entirely, but anyway.
The anno man on Wales on 1 yesterday made a really bitchy comment after Neighbours about Liljana's hair which made me laugh quite a lot -- never really checked to see if network comment on Neighbours but it is quite a fun thing to listen out for most afternoons.
Mind you not all join in with it [which is a bit rubbish of them].

Unfortunate then for those who aren't amongst the exclusive group of regular viewers. Bad enough to cross-promote in an exclusive (rather than an inclusive) way, but to do it with playground humour... well, it's not big, and it's not clever.
I tend to think that Northern Ireland and Wales took the right decision to re-script.

Yes, that works fine because it's a voice over at the top of the credits of a programme which the viewer has just watched. That's why I made the point in my original post that it was inappropriate to cross-promote in that way.
As a matter of fact it was our 'playground-gagster-par-excellence' who refused to do the tits gag yesterday, as he quite rightly felt that it was inappropriate.

I find it so funny how professionally this programme is put together.
"We're now going over to see how the blue tits are doing..." "Yes, there still in the box there...."
