OK, first complaint. A fantastic sequence getting the Olympic and Paralympic champions on to the stage, and as soon as it's done, let's talk football!

Looked fine for them, but when a women wearing high heals walks down, it just looks stupid!

Surprising result - though Adlington had the better chance of beating Hamilton, but Chris Hoy really is the deserving winner!

Absolutely delighted Adlington didn't win it.

Now if Adlington looked like Victoria Pendleton she would have gotten a few FHM votes! Very Happy

I must admit that I am very surprised Adlington didn't win and in fact came in third! Shocked

And I'm glad Usain Bolt won the Overseas Personality award and not Michael Phelps..

I think that generally all the awards were won by the right people. However, the show itself was incredibly "loose" at times. Jake didn't really do much, and some (most) sports didn't get a proper review and the links between them were atrocious ("Usain comes from Jamaica, so must like cricket, and this season there was great change for the England team!" Rolling Eyes ). It looked like a good event, though and credit to the Beeb for sticking with it. Hopefully it pulled in the viewers - it certainly deserved to.
