Nice to have a surprise result considering it's usually so predictable - two of the top three were a surprise really.

And I thought I was the only person to remember that 'Sports Personality' is a fairly recent name. 'Sports Review of The Year' has been rather erased from history

It was good to hear the traditional music, played by the BBC concert orchestra, as the former winners were introduced.
