I have been experiencing a couple of channels coming through on Sky that as far as i'm aware, are supposed to be special subscription channels.

A couple of nights ago I was receiving NASN. I switched back later in the night to discover that it was now encrypted.

Also, the last couple of nights I have been able to get MUTV - and I do mean during programming hours - not just the channel line-up/promotions before the programming starts.

Has anybody else experienced this?

NASN has regular freeviews, but these aren't always advertised in advance. You happened to come across one of these.

MUTV is having a freeview weekend this weekend.

OH, ok then - that puts an end to that one.
Please excuse my waste of a thread... Embarassed

Also, Racing UK is being shown for free during the afternoons at the moment for the big meeting at Doncaster - which Channel 4 are also showing in between the cricket - and FilmFour is free during the day at the moment, showing the cricket to fill the gaps whilst C4 shows racing.

These are also published on their website, which looks far too American-like for anybody to follow it.

Speaking of Freeviews, Disney Channel used to do this a lot but they seem to have packed it in now for whatever reason.

The annoying thing about NASN's Freeviews, is that they are advertised, even on the NTL EPG, but remain encypted, though when NASN launched on NTL it was free for about 3 weeks, and all I can say was it was alright for insomniacs, as they actually show Live Sport at 3.00am.

Stations like MUTV, Film Four, Disney, Sony Entertainment Asia, Star Plus/News tend to do freeviews from time to time.
