I don't mind the Mars Planets ones for Friends on E4, although they are getting a little repetitive, well says the person who watches Friends everyday on the channel. Laughing

Even they're beginning to get a little annoying now. Although at least it does leave room for some more additions at some point.

3's sponsor is awful, the "comedian" has a good point with some quips he makes, but the crap about llamas and other such cack... wouldn't it be better to just recycle YBF clips? That's funnier. Oh, and that godforsaken Bingo advert sponsoring the Jeremy Kyle Show... only cos my mum is watching it and I hear that awful f**king jingle.

The sad thing is, that the man on the 3 adverts is a comedian - Spencer Brown. I also can't help noticing that half of the stuff he says is stolen material, made worse.

Two words - Sheila's Wheels. So inappropriate to be play out straight after the news, as we saw tonight on the Evening News which ended with a piece of war poetry, crashing into a Sheila's Wheels jingle.

That is the most annoying sting and so awfully loud as well.

I'm not sure which is more irritating - the Sheila's Wheels sting or Michael Winner on the Esure one. Both are made slightly more tolerable by them being alternated every few weeks.

A slightly less obvious candidate is the Sainsbury's one on certain ITV dramas - not particularly intrusive, but for some reason I get fed up of their break sting jingle very quickly.

At least the Sheila's Wheels one is well made, the Michael Winner ones come across as ad-libbed and rambling. Powergen would be turning in their grave, were they a person.

I thought I recognized him. If he's a comedian, then why is he doing that? Shouldn't he be on 8 out of 10 Cats or something?

He's not good enough.

Yes, I thought that was awful. Even an ITV1 ident or a generic 'Weather' sting as used by the regions in between would have slightly softened the embarrassing crunching gear change we ended up with.

I do quite like the Domino's Pizza ones for Britain's Got Talent, those are quite amusing.

I think it's for ITV drama premiere's - although I think Aviva have now replaced them.
