Spitting Image to return on BritBox

More self indulgence to look forward to on Good Morning Britain 🙄😴

I imagine Piers would have been more annoyed if he didn't get featured on Spitting Image.

I only a handful of people didn't like how they portrayed on the original Spitting Image, Paul Daniels didn't mind the wig jokes but thought him nuzzling Debbie McGee was a joke too far.

I'm not sure anyone claimed it to be groundbreaking. It's just a bit of cross promotion surely?

Spitting Image puppets are never flattering, but I think many politicians have seen them as a 'badge of honour' - unless of course you are Michael Gove, who unfortunately appears to have his genitals in the middle of his face.

Piers did seem to take his puppet image quite well, and even chatted to the guy who was doing his voice. The puppet isn't too bad, I suppose.

Gove mentioned on Times Radio he was honoured to be portrayed on Spitting Image.

I find that rather surprising, unless he's missed the obvious inference in the puppet . . .

Piers looks quite classy.

The first time in his life that he ever has.

They mentioned that in the same interview but he replied that his friends say he has a face for radio.

No politician ever admits they hate their Spitting Image puppet, although I suspect most do.

P*ers M*rgan being deemed worthy of a Spitting Image puppet is exactly the sort of ego-stroke that he should not be given.
