Bring back Ballet I say, use Acrobats for other programming aside from news and give Skateboarders a rest.
I have to admit, all though I do like the dancers, we need some more variety and special idents. BBC TWO haven't released a normal ident since 2003 and the only special ident since the disappearance of the balloon was The Big Read, again on BBC TWO and once, cleverly, BBC ONE West stuck a picture of the Concorde on Capoeira when the Concorde made its final flight.
Where is that special presentation that Wales gets?

The addition of this BBC 1 Wales idents has made me wonder why the rest of the Uk aren't treated to 'special' idents - there have been many opputunities over the past few weeks - Doctor Who night, Comic Relief (although the 2003 one was shown) - I think it may have something to do with the fact that the dancer concept is far less versatile than that balloons were - we had a special ident for the Millennium (with the balloon flying over the Dome) and one for the start of Walking With Beasts
