It was clean and complete, though people including Lawrie Sanchez spoke over it, talking about the game.

I had a chuckle reading the story earlier this week that he got a better response from the public when he attended a public gathering in Belfast which the Irish president, Mary McAleese, also attended.

There was a wonderful boo from the Proms audience in the Royal Albert Hall when they crossed to Belfast City Hall and someone held up a banner with "Northern Ireland 1, England 0" on it.

I saw that, liked the way the camera zoomed in on it to make sure it was seen!

There were a few boos when they went to Scotland too, I noticed.

I have to say, Mark, I am amazed they went ahead with the Belfast event given the problems in some parts of Belfast this evening.

You have to admire peoples' stoicism.

As far as I am aware the trouble is very localised in the usual places, why should a few muppets spoil everyone's evening?
