I know some people think they should have started with the mission, but I do think the build-up with the training was far more interesting.

Anyhow - I suspect Paul may know. His experiments suggested he might be playing with us, and earlier with the baloons he said he was blowing up balloons for Keri and Billy, but not Charlie.


And at last tomorrow we'll get to see some people finding out it's all a hoax!

I have my doubts that it was live.
He seemed to appear right at the door of the simulator rather...immediately.

Johnny on the spaceship was a pre-record.
1 - He got in the hanger far too quickly
2 - Halfway through the interview the ambeint sound effects of the orbiter jumped around (high then low) and a definate cut of the soundtrack loop could be heard.

Earlier in the show he moved the left of where he has been presenting from and explained that (was pointing to a big metal door behind him) was one of the hanger doors. So that may explain how he was able to get into the hanger so quickly.

I think waht they're saying is the fact he was in the control room talking to the camera, around 3 seconds later he was in front of the simualtor. It seemed far too quick for me.

i was cringing watching the over the top, pathetic reaction from the "rejects" on tonight's show.

The reaction was some pay-off for sticking with this - but where was Ranie?

Also, why was it left to a couple of researchers and some dodgy camera work to reveal the truth - and not Johnny Vuaghan!

Obviously pre-recorded when they went into the Spaceship last night, that Scottish guys clothes changed!

Interesting to see them address the whole 'he was in that advert' issue too.

I think they said it was the show's producers - but what was with the camerawork? It looked like it had been shot on a Hi 8 camcorder!

In case they take a swing at him on air perhaps?
