If by some miracle I am wrong, I am more than happy to hold my hands up and i will post on here to say so. Im not afraid of admitting when I am wrong. However I do have to wonder how many apologies for the abuse I have taken I will get if I am right? But we can only wait and see.

I have to say that although I admire your conviction, you can hardly expect others to have an "open mind" when by your own suggestion only a "miracle" would be enough for you to be wrong.

I suspect that the reason you have taken "abuse" on the forum is that you have questioned the intelligence of all other members because they cannot see things the way you do.

An interesting approach, but hardly one likely to win firends and influence people.

To be quite honest I was quite shocked when I first came on here to see how certain members on other threads feel the need to attack people for the smallest thing. So maybe I was a little defensive, so fair point. Not only that, from my very first post on here when i accidently started a new topic about this, I got a load of arrogance and attitude problems. One calling me a stupid conspirecy theorist the other in less than polite ways saying there was another thread. Hell it was my first post, i dont expect that sort of crap from anyone. So admittedly, I have been a little defensive. Because not all people, I am sure are like that on here.

Just some people have got a real superiority complex. However the more people have a go the more i tend to dig my heels in. At the end of the day it is not the most major thing happening on the earth. And I can see your point about me being right and not seeing others points of view. Although to be honest, I am still yet to hear anything really constructive.

Lets try a new one. I have read that if this is a hoax on the audience, maybe, considering their concentration on suggestability, Derren Brown could be behind this somewhere.

I will just throw it in for conversations sake and nothing more, i couldnt say either way for sure obviously.

One way ticket to space for The Guvnor please! Surprised

If you hate it that much, stop posting here!

Most of us are treating it for what it is and remain open minded to all possibilities.

I'm still enjoying it - it's a one off series which isn't going to return, but more appealing to me than most of the crap aired in primetime. Johnny Vaughan is a brilliant choice of host for the show, which is far more appealing for the fact it isn't over hyped in the way I'm a Celebrity is.

Ratings aren't spectacular - Wed to Fri was around 2.5m, comparable to The Games, but ratings drops by a million over the weekend to a low of 1.2m. It could just be a Big Brother style weekend blip, so be interesting to see if it recovers for tonight's launch show.

The scheduling isn't great. Almost every show is opposite some sort of must watch once yearly programming on the other side. Scheduling so soon after I'm a Celebrity isn't good either.

It's as if they needed to schedule it before Xmas, forgot and then shoved it in at the last minute.

If we are to beleive that there is a mass experiment of audience suggestability, then indeed Derren Brown may have his sticky fingers involved. That would be right up his street.

Mind you, Johnny Vaughn made a strong effort to reiterate that it is a "fact" that not all the group are acting, and that they "do expect to go to space".

Its difficult to say either way, as the premise of the show is *so* unusual and out of the ordinary; and we're simply not getting enough information. One thing we can all agree on is that if the show was out to make a mark, it has certainly done it.

As to this forum - well it's true that some of the regulars don't suffer fools gladly. We are subjected to many. However, I'm sure you don't fall into that category.

Relax, stay with the flow, and I'm sure you'll start to enjoy the many genuinley smart and funny people who post here.

Have we actually got to the point where we're watching "live" yet? I've only just flicked over but what I've seen (from leaving the other contestants, getting on the bus, and being taken onboard) was (until they were walking through the metal corridors) almost certainly edited (e.g. the cutaway to the two techs sharing a knowing glance) and now looks like it's all running a little too smoothly to be live.

Any thoughts? Have they just left them sitting in the simulator for a couple of hours while they edited that last bit together?

Nothing was live, what a joke. Razz

Good show though, it would have been great if it were live and Charlie made that thread being serious!

Well the shutters are down on the front of the simulater because a moth is flying around the studio and they dont want the moth to go on the projection screen (which the world is imposed on)

I don't think any of it will be live, and I don't think it really needs to be

Personally I'm enjoying the documantary sections about the programme more than the coverage of the actual cadets.
