Rival broadcasters are bracing themselves for the launch of a new Channel 4 daily peak time reality show from Big Brother producer Endemol early next month.

Advance schedules for the week beginning Monday December 5 show a new 60-minute Channel 4 programme stripped each night in the network's peak time line-up, with the title TBC - to be confirmed.

Channel 4 is expected to unveil the new show tomorrow, when it will also have to confirm its schedule for the week beginning December 5.

The show could be a new series of Endemol reality formats The Games or Celebrity Big Brother - although the broadcaster announced earlier this month it was planning to bring back the latter for a new run early next year.

But Endemol is also said to have been developing another spin-off from its successful Big Brother format.

Whatever the new Channel 4 show turns out to be, it could end up going head-to-head with the fifth series of ITV1's own flagship reality format, I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!.

The show returns to ITV1 at 9pm on Sunday and should end on December 5 if it follows its normal scheduling pattern.

However, there have been suggestions that ITV might extend I'm a Celebrity for another week, to maximise the ratings return from its biggest reality show.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman declined to comment on the new show.

The Games is coming back as well - Kirsty Gallagher has already been confirmed to replace Jayne Middlemiss as co-presenter. Surprised they missed that. They also have Shipwrecked coming back, but it's not an Endemol show so it's probably not that.

That's scheduled for January though, unless they are bringing it forward.

maybe its "Big Brother - For Real". Cameras have been installed into a house where they believe they are waiting there to join this new reality show, not realising that there already in. The cameras wil be hidden, mainly behind mirrors. They will be there for 7days, then be told that everything has been screening for the past week. Producers would go in and talk to them asking what they would do to win this new reality show.

I doubt it , but i would watch something like that. Thats as real as it could get

Bring back Endemol's greatest success - The 24 Hour Quiz!!!

I'm actually being semi serious - it became compulsive viewing towards the end when Barry from Eastenders seemed to get so excited about anything and was constantly out of breath. And the bit at the end with the obviously fake cards being swiped through was fantastic.

I do miss it in many ways - the idea of them living the quiz was a bit pants but I just loved the way Barr....sorry Shaun was so rude to the contestants if they got it wrong.

Knowing Channel 4, it could be Fool Around With The F*cking Fulfords...
