Sophie Raworth on BBC News at One

I agree she is better suited to the One than George... George is much better on the Ten.

Is it just me or does her hair look a bit different?

While we're on that, does anyone have any idea where I can get a little webspace just to host pics etc., for use on the Forum. I.e. one which will let me put a pic on the forum instaed of having to link it? Geocities doesn't, but do any others?

In the North we got a proper annoucement for the 1. I expect some of you regions who arn't very good at this sort of thing, just went with the Network clock?

It went 'This is BBC One in the North, now at one o'clock, the BBC News with Sophie Raworth and Peter Levy'
That combination would once have been for Look North itself!
It was voiced, I think by a Radio Leeds traffic man, but not sure which one.

I yearn to hear :

'Across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North Midlands, this is BBC1 with Look North, presented by Katherine Birkett and Peter Levy'

Followed by:

'Across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North Midlands, this is BBC1 with Look North presented by Peter Levy and Penny Bustin, with Katherine Birkett and Christa Ackroyd slugging it out in the studio mud-wrestling pit'

Well Sophie's back on the One O'Clock News today (Friday) - she's been doing the bulletins all morning. They must like her!
