Sophie Raworth on BBC News at One

Well, I said last week I'd like Sophie to do the One, and she is! She's just done the summary at 10am, and she was really good! I'll get a screen grab in the next summary at 12pm, and I'll give you the link then!

Wow - Sophie on the One - can't wait for that!

That's obviously why Sian was doing Breakfast this morning. They must be trying all the breakfast presenters on the One whilst Anna and George are away!

She looks good in N6. She is a really good presenter on her own without Jeremy. I think she would make a good main presenter on the One, or Six instead of Fiona.

She's doing really well at the moment, it must be a bit of a shock for her having to read the main news again - she normally has Moira and Co to do that for her!

she did very well for her first bulliten at 1 o clock.

Wonder if Anna Ford has gone on summer holidays and George Alagiah is still away... maybe we will see more off her!

I doubt it tomorrow, as she is scheduled all week now (until Thurday) for Breakfast with Jeremy Bowen, but you never know, it has been known for Darren Jordon to present Breakfast followed by the News at One shift! I hope so, I thought she was excellent. She was just as good as Anna Ford. Unlike Jeremy, she is more serious, and ideal for national BBC News. Well Done Sophie!

Well Sophie has to get up 3 o clock to do breakfast.
