In summary:

Sony Movie Channel > Sony Movies
Movies4Men > Sony Movies Action
True Entertainment > Sony Channel
True Movies > Sony Movie Classics (this will also become Sony Movies Christmas)

Sony Channel will have a mix of Sony archive including Charlie's Angels and even Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. Looks like it will be happening from September.

No mention of Sony/True Crime, I assume that will die completely.

Looks like the name of this thread will need changing. Movies4Men was such a tacky title so glad it's finally going.

All well changing the names, but if the crap picture quality and awful selection of films doesn't change then it will be pointless.

I'm glad they have finally seen sense though and called it Sony Movies instead of Sony Movie Channel. Sony Channel still sounds odd though, why not just Sony TV / Sony UK / Sony 1 or just Sony? Hopefully now the DOGs will be much smaller and transparent as a result of the rebrand.

I always thought Movies 4 Men was a refreshingly honest channel name, the Ronseal of TV. Like if ITVBe was called Scripted Reality 4 Women, or if Sky One was called We Don't Know What This Channel Is 4 Anymore.

Small correction: True Movies will become Sony Movies Classic.
