I wonder what are Sony planning on doing with Sony Crime Channel? It's still running with only Speeders/Bait Car on loop. Are they holding off closing it for some reason or what's the idea? Rebrand? Didn't the other channels rebrand in September.

It would appear that the Sony Crime Channel is closing on 10th June, although there's no confirmed source (it appears to be based on Digiguide not having any listings from that date, although Digiguide isn't exactly a reliable source), and it's too far ahead to check the EPG.
I think the channel has been on the way out for a while now, and Sony seem to have given up on it. It's still just showing a loop of Speeders and Bait Car, as mentioned by the OP.
Im not surprised that such a channel would be shut down. Channels with such a niche topic as this (imo) are unlikely to last a long time and it would have been more prudent of the, to just set aside 1-2 hours on the main Sony Channel for crime content instead.

I think CBS Justice are fortunate in being distributors for the CSI and NCIS franchises. Along with other long running programmes such as Diagnosis Murder it means they have a vast back-catalogue which they can use to make their channel (formerly CBS Action) work.
Sony Crime Channel is still on the epg and broadcasting normal programming, despite the epg now saying “Channel is no longer available”
Also, I just saw a Tru TV break bumper while watching. Don’t know if this was played out by mistake, or if it’s because Tru TV could be making a return.

Speaking of TruTV, it turns out their UK YouTube channel is quite active, posting frequent content despite the lack of a linear precense. Feels a lot like Men & Motors when that moved to YouTube.

Interesting, didn't know that page existed. Presumably it's a way for Turner to try and cash in on some of the shows they haven't been able to flog to broadcasters in the UK.
