It's TV listings to go until Thursday. Maybe Sony might sell the slot to one of the channels stuck in the 450 range? Sony have too many of these niche channels anyway with no real 'brand' channel (well maybe Sony Crime Channel). They seem to be culling a few channels lately with Scuzz also to close. How many channels do they operate in the UK?

Google is your friend.

Chart Show Hits, Chart Show TV, Movies4Men, Pop, Pop Max, Sony Crime Channel, Sony Crime Channel 2, Sony Movie Channel, Starz TV, Tiny Pop, TruTV, True Entertainment, True Movies, The Vault and, until Thursday, Scuzz.

Some of them are run as a subsidiary of Sony through CSC Media Group, which you can identify as they don't carry any Sony branding (True, Scuzz, Vault, the children's channels and longest surviving relic if not in name of Sit-Up, Movies4Men).

What is basically the original Sony business is what is left of Dolphin Television with the Sony Movie Channel and their Crime brand.

What I would say is that some employees who work for the CSC channels say they work for Sony Television rather than CSC.

The very existence of most of the channels on that list was hitherto unknown to me, let alone who does or doesn't own them! I'm surprised by how many Sony channels there are/were.

Don't know why, but Sony / CSC have always closed channels in November over the last few years.

Bliss closed in November 2015
Flava closed in November 2017
Scuzz and Sony Crime Channel 2 to close in November 2018

The link from that website is out of date, as it includes Flava.

CSC Media Group Limited still exists as an active company, but the CSC brand doesn't really seem to be used anymore.

Sony Crime Channel 2 schedule says that it dead at 12 pm but the recording for the programmes there and at the final closedown have failed to record due to a broadcaster issue meaning it must of shut at the same time as scuzz at 9:01am

Same as me when I tried the same with the final programme broadcast on the channel.
