Glen your S&D's announcements are legendary -loved your bit on Saturday morning about Fionas 'delicious' seafood cutlets Do you have any idea if five are planning on showing Prisoner or any other old australian soap in its slot in the future? Perhaps you could use your clout at five to convince the bosses to buy the rights to S&D's again as I have only seen the last 50 eps or so but am totally hooked! Also, do you watch Sunset Beach? I think your p*ss takes over the credits would be ideal as SB's are incredibly long and boring!

Hey, the rare intro sounds intriguing! I remember that Five once did a "100%" special about Prisoner - it would have been great to have an S&D quiz show before the final episode!

Nice piece of continuity to end the saga this morning at 5.35am before the final episode....

I havent watched the early morning repeats of Sons and Daughters regularly however I made an effort to tape the final episode this morning. I used to watch it after school at 3.30pm on ITV and on Channel 5 at lunchtimes in 1998. Its took me back to when I saw the final episode on ITV (my region completed its run of S&D in 1991), and at the time I didnt realise the whole connection with the twins in the final scene and how the series had come full circle, since I didnt see the first episode until 1998 on Channel 5, poor Susan though, shame she didnt get a happy ending after all she went through.

I actually had a bad chest infection so I was awake to watch the final announcement (and Trish's pre announcement before SSB).
A BIG BIG thanks, the way it's supposed to be. really helped my cough filled morning!
All your announcements have been spot on, although I worried at one stage you had so much to fit in!
And the end of the programme untouched, Thames didn't give London the chance to see it from what my mother's said a shame as she was a BIG fan back then.
I think Glen can't spill the beans, there's something about a 2 week programme announcement embargo across the industry, but if you ever get wind of a re-run of SAD or something aussie please give us a clue...
