Caught something for the weekend this morning, thought it was a wonderfull show and seems to be using a similar format to other sunday morning bbc2 projects where they dig out footage from other shows and use them as short items. I know its made by princess but where is that distincitve windowed studio.....surely it cant be the same studio used for the old Rise show?

Yes it is. It's the Princess Studios in the Whitleys Shopping Centre in the West of London near Queensway.

Studio also used by Five's 'The Wright Stuff'

Well theyve done a bloody good job dressing it!, I guess it will take them a while to re configure the studio back to the wright stuff layout!

Not really. The Wright Stuff shoots down the mid-right hand side of the studio, and Something For The Weekend uses the top back wall and the top right hand side, so the two shows set don't really clash.

There will be a second series next year.

I've watched this a few times over the last few weeks and I enjoyed it. Thought that was the Rise/Wright Stuff studio. Also there is no point opening a new thread for this but yesterday I was flicking through the channels and on five was a look back at the supermodel show they've got on, can't remember the name of it, but is that the same building as Fame Academy used last series?

Isn't it exactly the same set as the old Terry Wogan & Gabby Roslin show that Princess made for five?

Terry and Gaby was broacast live from a temp studio based within County Hall on the South Bank just by Westminster Bridge (it's a multi-use buliding which also has an aquarium, a hotel, a art gallery and a amusement arcade and one of the most overcrowded McDonalds in London)
Terry and Gaby was made for Five by UMTV and not Princess Productions.
