Soccer Night

I read a few months ago on various reports that Soccer Night on ITV will return. I have checked some ITV websites and TV guides, and it does not appear to be on. Anyone know why?

London Soccer Night is on in my region late on Tuesday nights...or it was last season, oresented by Jonathan Wills.

It may be because The Championship on Sunday mornings (which I now have to watch ) covers Championship, Lg1 and Lg2 games, and Prem highlights are licensed to the BBC...

i watched the Championship last Sunday - and it seems to have all the action from the games across the Football League rather than snippets from Leagues 1&2 like it did last seaon. It's also been extended by 10 mins. So perhaps the regional variants have been axed this season?

Lg1 & 2 games coverage on Sunday's show was generally snippets.

That may be the case, however I don't ever recall the regional shows beginning at the start of the season. Certainly in Yorkshire, the various Football League highlights shows (Thurs night / Sunday morning) never started until a couple of months into the season.

ITV1 Wales are showing it from next Thursday at 11.30pm. The rest of the network are showing a flim which ITV1 Wales will screen 1/2 hour later than the rest of the network.
