Can't agree with you there...
Soapstar Superstar was dismal stuff - the only reason it probably got high viewing figures is that it provided some background ambience in most houses, where the mother would be doing the cleaning, the father down the pub and the children playing computer games. Noone would be actually watching it though.

ITV has axed Soapstar Superstar because they claim it has reached a natural conclusion. Excuse me, explain why it received audience figures of 7 million this year.
Well, that's ITV for you. Once again...you have let us down...BIG TIME!

Yep. I don't know if this is going to be a similar experiment to Pokerface which eventually was turned into a weekly series earlier this year or if they do recommission it, it will be a nightly show again next year.

Different show, but not worth a new thread, but I noticed Applause Store have tickets for the "live" shows of Britain's Got Talent and their initial dates are something like the 14/15/16/17 June - so are ITV running it over consecutive nights rather than on Saturday nights?

Who cleans at 9 at night? If only all TV shows were "accidently" watched by 7 million viewers each night

it went Down hill after Cilla Left!
PT
Oh don't be stupid, the show only had a shelf life anyway. Yes, it was good to see Cilla back on ITV, but again, all she did was praise every act and never said anything negative.
