In what way do you find Antony awful just out of interest? I wouldn't mind Hayley winning, I think she has been of consistently good quality and she has been modest, but bubbly, throughout.

Mark I dislike, his haughtiness is annoying. I think his singing is OK, but he is so up himself-- takes himself and everything else too seriously.


I just find him really irritating, and he isnt a great performer. I can only imagine how cringeworthy it would be if he won.

Tupele Dorgu sang him off the stage last night, and she isnt that great herself!

I don't mind who wins tonight. Antony (sic) may not have the best voice, but I (and others it would seem Wink ) have found him entertaining-- I feel his voice has improved of late.

Hayley may not quite have the showmanship of Antony, but her singing has been consistently great; I can only recall one duff performance from her, and that wasn't so bad.

I'm bloody glad the petulant and bolshy Mark Furze was voted off last night, he deserved the boot. I think the right two have got to the final. It reminds me a bit of last year's final the "best entertainer" v. "the best singer".


Sorry but I disagree. I think the right 2 for the final would have been Hayley and either Gemma/Mark/Leon.

Did he win? I didn't watch a lot but saw one of his performances and didn't think he was that good at all.

Yes. I didnt watch the final as I was bored of it. Only tuned in for the results. I watched it for about 4/5 nights but when most of the decent talent was voted off I got fed up.

I too was getting very bored of the show. However I only stopped watching it a few nights ago..

So Anthony won.. I'm not really suprised due to the amount of episodes he is in the soap Coronation Street. Haley I thought was okay, but I think Gemma should have been head to head with Anthony.

Well seems people voted on what soap character they play, I don't watch soaps but from what I understand the bloke plays a nice character & the girl plays a bi*ch, or am I wrong about their characters

I hardly watch Emmerdale these days but I dont think Delilah is a bitch as such. But yes Anthony is probabaly more popular and has a bigger fanbase than she does.

Sex appeal's a factor as well - Home and Away probably has the smallest fanbase of all the soaps represented, but Mark came 3rd.

If viewers are basing their votes on the characters played by the soapstars taking part in the show, rather than whether
the soapstars singing is any good, then there are far too many deluded soap viewers out there. The sort of people who
think the actors in the soaps are exactly the same in real life, as the fictional characters they play on TV.

Laughing True. I think he was a good example of looks not being everything, I thought he was a bolshy and peevish tw*t Embarassed

I didn't think Gemma was that good to be honest, although her voice did improve considerably.

I think the reason Leon and wotsit Wolfenden didn't do brilliantly is because they loved themselves too much, a bit on the posey side for my liking.

Although Antony is not an exceptional singer (by his own admission); he didn't take things too seriously, and often pointed out his main reason for doing it was charity-- which is probably why the voters warmed to him. I think bearing in mind he wasn't a brilliant singer, he was quite 'brave' for doing the show Laughing

Anyway he raised a massive amount (£200,000 or summat like that) for his chosen charity, and the other contestants' charities benefitted from all the voting revenue-- so did it really matter that much who won it the end? Cool

Well done to Anthony! STILL, Hayley should have won - she has a better voice, and is much better looking!!!! HA HA! Cool
