Yes it's funny you should say that but I was saying just the same to a friend of mine yesterday. Yes, they gave us a priority ticket application form but there's nothing especially exciting on there. No sign of Stars In Their Eyes - have they stopped making that? Through The Keyhole and Countdown both get listed even though they are filmed in Leeds. Soapstar Superstar is also on there but I bet they will have lost my form in 12 months time, even if they do make another series!!

Incidentally I heard through a friend about someone who had priority tickets for Thursday, and she received a phone call last week cancelling them totally - not even offering her the option of turning up and trying her luck. So nobody is safe!!

I asked them about Stars in their Eyes they said it is taking a break but may return. Maybe they are only doing the celeb versions from new on as ITV seem to love celebs

I have been offered tickets for Countdown too but turned them down as it doesnt really interest me.

I will have to get on the London audience relations mailing list as I have a better chance as more shows are made there.

What gets me about a show like this, is what exactly is the point?

If these so-called "celebrities" are genuinely talented and well-known as ITV would have us believe, any record producer would be scrabbling over the competition to sign up such a "banker" for a one-hit wonder number one single.

So what exactly is this precession for then? Couldn't possibly be a cynical viewer grab, in the full knowledge that there will be enough people who don't quite have their brains in gear on any one evening who'll be prepared to watch this tosh?

This goes for all of the celebrity hybrids. This one in particular though seems especially bankrupt.

How has Alan Fletcher been voted out considering the lines to vote for him have been so busy nobody could get through and it made the news, did Tupele Dorgu have this problem with her line or is this contest a fix??

The point of this is purely to challenge Celebrity Big Brother in the first week of January - just like the reason they commissioned Love Island.

Neither were particularly chosen on merit!

He wasn't sounding too hot the other night, but he is easy on the eye. I always had a crush on Carl.

To be honest I haven't heard much of him singing as he always performs during Big Brother. Its just when you see someone from an international soap that you watch daily its just....exciting. How sad am I!
