Mark Furze was on the Australian version of Come Dancing wasen't he? Does anyone know how well he did. I know it has nothing to do with singing just wondering.

Im glad they are having people from Home and Away and Neighbours this time!

Just a shame that Alan Fletcher (Neighbours) already has a cult following with his band in the UK!!!!! - why didn't they get someone else who has NO connection with the music industry from Neighbours (BTW that does rule out Alan Fletcher, Stefan Dennis the actress who plays Isabelle Hoyland - again I apologise for bad spelling, if its incorrect!)

Yeh Ben Shepherd hosting all these things doesn't do him any favours on GMTV; he loses any credibility if he's talking about any serious issues (which is rare on GMTV though) and he comes across so camp on light entertainment.

Credibility - GMTV!

Nope, they just don't go together!

ITV usually axe most of their programmes!

Being a student myself, Alan Fletcher - I'd love for him to win but then I suppose there'd be no point in the show's purpose really.

Roger Mellie
So this is the high-quality programme that Celebrity Love Island was scrapped to make way for Laughing ! Haven't ITV got any original ideas any more?

The first series was just about bearable, don't know about this one though! Antony Cotton could prove quite amusing though Confused

I have to say even though Cilla was meant to be the big returning star in the last series - she didn't really have much of an impact, she was too nice all the time.

Unusual really if you knew her backstage manners! You just know she had an arguement in the wings before that last-ever live edition of Blind Date. I'm telling ya now....

The Nurse
Does anyone know if this is being made at 3Sixty in Manchester again?

EDIT: I'm not a student but I hope The Fletch wins too! Going to see him in Sheffield tonight!! (sad)

I get the impression that most of these "talent shows" (X Factor, Soapstar Superstar, etc etc) are generally won by whichever young male person(s) are the most widely fancied by "12-year-old girls" and gay men! So, female participants are at a distinct disadvantage.

Hence, Richard Fleeshman winning SS earlier this year. Going by that, I guess it'll be Ben Freeman this year.
