I see the presenters are to be Richard Arnold and Nicki Chapman. Shocked

Hmm, perhaps ITV are training up Richard Arsehold to be new host of X Factor. If that happens....just send me to the slaughter.

If that happens I might not watch it!

lets turn up the mics 2 minutes into the show lol! they were live in the studio and all that could be heard for the first couple of minutes was echoes. Not sure about the theme - couldnt really hear it though

theyre using that shameless zoom in technique in the VTs - how annoying!!!

glad nikki's presenting though

ITV are planning a Soapstar Superstar spin off. Instead of singing soapstars, this time they'll be cooking.

Soapstar Superchef will pit two teams of actors against each other in a cook-off against the clock. And each team in the show — to be shown daily at 5pm from late spring — will have a professional chef.

More televisual salmonella from ITV plc. Just what we all need.

My kind of programme, food, soap stars, drama and comedy. Not a bad programme for 5pm viewing.

"They've put the souflettes in too early...they'll drop if they're not careful"

Yeah, lets position the judges right in front of where they're cooking so they can hear what we're saying - how does that work? Surely what the judges (chefs) say is going to influence how they're cooking. Duh!

They should let cooking commence etc...with maybe a commentary THEN when finished go to the judges. Either that or scrap the show anyway.. I don't care anymore.

Yeah I agree with that. But overall it wasnt a bad programme. Something different for ITV1 anyway.

The quiz was a good idea as otherwise it would have been to boring with the same thing for 1 hour.
