it just sounds like Celebrity Ready Steady Cook, hardly anything to get outraged about and certainly not a competitor to Big Brother.

Oh I got an e-mail asking me if I wanted tickets to this show in Mid January - I didnt post about it at the time as I wasnt sure if I was allowed to. The information I got said nothing about it being a spin off to Soapstar Superstar. It just happens to be a simular title.

Apparently its on for 4 weeks.

Well exactly, where were the voices of hysteria when Celebrity Ready Steady Cook and Celebrity Masterchef were showing ?

The Big Brother thing is just laughable, in the 5pm slot it's nowhere near any BB programming.

ITV are planning a Soapstar Superstar spin off. Instead of singing soapstars, this time they'll be cooking.

But Celebrity Ready Steady Cook and Celebrity Masterchef don't sound as tacky as 'Soapstar Superchef' for some bizarre reason. Wink

These celebrity formats obviously worked so the ITV bashers who say "they have too many celebrity shows" can't really argue with ratings? The shows are liked no matter what they think.

Personally, I think this show is going to be like Hell's Kitchen (series 1) crossed with Ready Steady Cook and could prove to be a good and fun daytime TV show.

Celebrity Wrestling and Celebrity Love Island were oh so popular, weren't they!

I'd say over the last few years only a few celeb shows have really worked for ITV - Dancing on Ice and I'm a Celeb and possibly Soapstar Superstar.
