Other people put polls on here e.g. someone has just put Bes Tea-Time programme on here. Have you had a go at them like you keep having a go at me. I am trying to establish what people like and don't like on television because I have a website full of petitions for people to look at and consider signing and when the time is right I will let people know about it. People come on here and moan about channels and programmes which is why I write petitions out so hopefully people will consider signing them. Why moan about something on television but then moan and refuse to sign my petitions. When I read threads on websites it enables me to get an idea of where people's interests lie.
Grow up! Petitions go no-where and Labour is still in government
ALSO, Are you the same guy who 'randomly' sent me this email a few months back...
Hello Jon
Firstly you don't know me and I don't know you but before you start to wonder who am I, I am just an ordinary member of the British public like yourself. Secondly I got your email address from the www.tv-ark.org.uk website because you signed the Guestbook on Thursday 1st April 2004 so I thought I would email you on the off chance to see what your pet hates are on television because television is in a disgraceful state right now.
What programmes would you like to see axed altogether from television?
Personally my pet hates are and in chronological order:
1) Reality Tv
2) Cooking, Gardening and DIY Programmes
3) Chatshows
4) Cheap Quiz Programmes. I love proper general knowledge quiz shows where the format of the show works and you have to use some intelligence but the cheap made ones I can't stand.
5) At this moment in time I am anti soap because there isn't one decent soap on the air at the moment but I haven't always being anti soap. Personally I think there are too many soaps now and most of them are full of teenagers instead of proper actors and they are on the air far too much.
Well there's my pet hates above so over to you to list your's. I have loads of petitions for you to look at and consider signing but I won't send them to you until you have voiced your opinions on what you hate on television that way it will enable me then to send you the right petitions for signing.
Lastly please email me back when you get chance.
Thanks
Yours sincerely
Robert

Yes I am the same guy who emailed you a few months back but I won't be emailing you again thats for sure if thats your attitude. If people took the trouble to reply with a for or against my petitions campaign I would know where I stood. It is very frustrating when people don't reply at all because I don't know if people receive my emails or not. I am told emails can go anywhere when you send them - to the junk mail box and sometimes they get delayed so I have no idea whether people have received them or not. Somebody emailed me about my campaign the other day and apologised for not replying sooner. He replied to my campaign two months after I sent him the message and do you know why it took him so long to reply, it was because my email was floating around in his junk mail account and he had only just found it.
What is your email address Jon that way I can cross you off my list so I don't end up emailing you again by mistake.

But it depends on your definition of "Proper TV". Many would argue that soaps form part of TV.
Personally I think currently Soaps are trying to hard and placing ammounts of episodes before quality of episodes. Eastenders been the prime example!
Simply cut back and don't allow Soaps to totally dominate the schedule...

Hmm, of course BBC are likely to axe Eastenders when the top 15 ratings for last week on BBC 1 was....
And over on ITV1...

I think it's fair to say that whilst some people dislike soaps they have the highest ratings for channels, hence they are unlikely to scrap them. Where's 'Daz, the soap you can believe in'?

Yes my proper name is Robert Fairbanks, my username on this website is PaulFox but so what. Do other members of this website use their proper names when registering to become members - no. I hope you will have a go at them like you have had a go at me for not registering under their proper names. What point are you trying to make here. People keep having a dig at me for everything and it is only because you are against my campaign to improve the state of British Television.

Shame isn't it - but true!
Of course though the BBC now say it's not ratings that matter - but that excuse seems to apply to low rating programmes rather than high rated crap!

So one person sets up a load of online 'wordy' petitions and that is going to sort out the state of British Television is it?
Think about it!
