So, what do you do with a TV Production Centre?

Since Crossroads finally bit the dust, I'm presuming that two large studios are standing empty in Nottingham these days?

I'm unaware of any productions planned for the building, so what is Carlton intending to do with it?

Since it is only 20 years old, I can't see them closing it down, but with Carlton who knows.

If anybody knows please post it on the forum.

Well Pebble Mill is only 30 years old and being closed...

Seriously - it must depend on many things, the value of the land, the potential for sale and redevelopment, the age/productivity of the current studio infrastructure, the desirability of the location, the likelihood of production in the future etc.

I don't think anyone knows. The Central News facilities are long due a total refurbishment, but they can't do it until they decide where it is going to be located.

After Crossroads was axed the studios were full for a while with various things, the studio section did get rid of a load of people at the end of the summer
