SMG presentation.

I wish SMG would put more effort into their standard of presentation. All last week they ran a trailer for Celebrity Wrestling tagged with Coming Soon. Last evening they ran one, Next Saturday at 6.30 (which is the corrected time).However, at the next junction they ran another Next Saturday at 7 (the original time). Earlier today, they were back to Coming Soon, and tonight it is again Saturday at 7.In addition, the last three weeks they have promoted Hit Me Baby as Saturday at 6, when it has been shown 10-15 minutes earlier. Further, the promos for their own regional programmes have the wrong time on them. As the purpose of promos is to inform the viewer, I wish SMG would ensure they are correct, before they go on air.
Yesterday, after running Hell’s Kitchen station idents in the afternoon, they reverted to the celeb idents in the evening, with the announcer heavily promoting Hell’s Kitchen over them. What is the point of the aforementioned?

I've said it once and i'll say it again, SMG please sell Scottish and Grampian! I still can't believe they use the old celeb idents. If anything, they could at least get the newer package or even better, something connected with the thistle for Scottish and the St. Andrew's Cross for Grampian.

Perhaps the reason SMG haven't updated the package is because something better is on it's way, or perhaps it's just because it's better to have something annoying (STV/Grampian Idents) than something tedious ("ITV1" idents).

I'd rather have the ITV1 idents than the old celeb idents!

What... you want an ITV1 logo stuck onto a video of clouds or blue ribbons? o...k...

They have used the ident with Bryan Burnett recently and Scottish Passport is no longer in production.Also they still use the Charity Dingle ident now she left Emmerdale a couple of months ago .

I'm not sure that they will bother to update the on air look SMG don't give a **** .

However it is funny to hear Kate Fraser trying to pronunce Jean Christophe Novelli on the Hells Kitchen Promo .

Scotsport is coming from two locations at STV tonight the panel and Jim are in studio but the audience seem to be in the canteen at the front of the building on the cowcaddens side very odd .

This is HILARIOUS, a guy is eating a PIE and drinking orange juice while appearing on a LIVE show. Are SMG doing their own version of Hell's Kitchen tonight.? Where did they get that furniture from?
Remember, as the presenter says "Sunday is the new Monday" for the next few weeks.I like that slogan.

An after thought i wonder if STV will cut jobs when they down size i think we all the know the answer to that one.I am surprised that they still have two presenters on the 15 min optout from the ITV lunchtime news.

BBC Scotland are axing five announcers.Radio Scotland will not have any continuity announcers anymore and the news will be read by journalists instead of the announcers .

That's the canteen at least in the old days when the canteen was upstairs the food was good .I realy am shocked they are coming from their tonight guess they are getting ready for the new accomadation which no doubt will be much smaller than Cowcaddens .

The Scottish 500 came from The National Piping Centre this week and was so funny. The seats kept creaking throughout the programme.Michael Crowe said in each of the 6 programmes 80 people will take part in the Scottish 500.Is 6*80 not 480?

SMG presentation is a bit of a nightmare - I'm a bit fed up of listening to a promo on SMG, then turning over to ITV2 to hear the exact same announcement delivered in an English accent. It becomes a bit obvious they've simply lifted the promos when you hear an SMG version go on about how well English teams are doing in the Champions' League.

And I wish they'd make some sort of effort on the now/next/laters - at the moment they are literally reading out the list of what's on next, without giving us any information about the programmes.

Bizarrely, despite originally hating them, I'd still rather have the celebs than the tedious new ITV1 presentation, which has simply been done on the cheap. The celebs look like they were brought in so that ITV1 could justify national continuity by saying they were putting a ton of money into better idents, only to be dropped as quickly as possible.

Can you try and use some punctuation correctly every now and again?
I'm no ogre when it comes to spelling and grammar, but you now seem to continually post really poorly with no proof reading or any vague attempt to sort out your structure.

I don't mean to offend you, but it makes your posts a lot harder to read and understand.
