Only a slight mistake, when Joanna Gosling couldn't quite get out 'And now we go over to the BBC World Newsroom' - coverage coming shortly!

Just to add to this a few weeks ago Anna Jones said at the half past the hour - 'This is BBC News 24, in a moment a summary of the headlines but first .... a sumary of headlines' then they both laughed.

On the subject of mistakes I was flicking past QVC last night when I noticed things weren't going exactly right. I shoved in a tape and recorded it, I'm glad I did because it was the most hilarious demonstration of a product I've ever seen. I'll encode this later tonight, but it's just increadibly funny.

Ha ha! I can't believe that someone has owned up to watching QVC, especially on this hi-brow forum! LOL Smile

Not so long ago on News 24, there was this incident at the top of the hour where Bill Turnbull made a cock-up by saying 'This is Bill Turnbull...on BBC News 24, good afternoon' whereas he was supposed to say 'This is BBC News 24, I'm Bill Turnbull.'

Thank god he didn't say 'This is Bill Turnbull, I'm BBC News 24!' He must have felt like D'oh!

When I read the title, I thought they'd brought a loaf of bread on to the set.
