Here is a selection of recent TVF posts. The first person to spot what they all have in common that makes me want to scream wins a prize. No clues.

OPTIX posted:
Hmm...what about the Bitchy Inn?

Anyway, I think they should have done a spin off instead of a new series

Mr-Stabby posted:
I was talking to Tom's agent and he said they should have just cancelled Monarch and put a new series starring Tom in it's place as it would of worked much better and I agree.

Ronant posted:
They do have Animal Park though - which comes in lots of different lengths, 20 minutes, 15 minutes etc so that should have been used after the news.

Banksoriginal posted:
The way you go on,I think you should have quit a long time ago.

its me posted:
I disagree with news woman. I don't think any presenter could of coped any better really.

Mr-Stabby posted:
If ITV2 had existed, i doubt it would of turned into what Channel 4 has become.

martinDTanderson posted:

I think they would of worked on the corporate logo and branding initially, and then work on channel logos and themes, then start on ITV4's look, before turning to do the other 4 channels.

dbl posted:
Liz is OK, but Frankie would of been better. Sad

FriendsFanatic posted:
Was i the only one thinking for a moment that Saturday Showdown could of been taking place in the old MOM studio?

That's scary. If English teachers are making these mistakes, there's little hope for kids.

Ah, the good ole "Of is not a verb" thing.

I would of pointed that out, but you were all faster. Wink

Wow! That first post of mine is actually quite old isn't it?

All i can say is, I should have corrected it, i'm so sorry! Razz

I did get an A in my English Language GCSE, but funnily enough i didn't see the need to correct myself on an internet forum. But then again some people do have some odd pet hates. Laughing

Mr Phipps, as an English teacher I object strongly to your blame-assignment. Granted, weak links may exist, but the majority of the English teaching population is well versed in English grammar and its dissemination.

It is - I agree - incredibly, appallingly frustrating to happen upon such linguistic atrocities not just online, but on quality radio and tv channels and even in good newspapers.

Forsooth, indeed, but don't blame the teachers.

There's probably a name for it these days - there seems to be for every other kind of "learning difficulty".
