Why exactly?
It seems more like the BBC Two of the Sky group now. In my opinion, Atlantic is a much better channel in terms of programming.
Well BBC Two has won this or similar awards too...
Sky1 has won the Broadcast channel of the year for 2012. I wonder will we see any special presentation like back in 2008?

Agree that Atlantic's the better channel, but Sky 1 does deserve some acclaim for its investment in original British comedy and drama productions over the past year, many of which have been really successful.

First look at the London based studio for Sky's F1 coverage. I think it will be used mostly for the weekly magazine show, with the main coverage being presented on location.

Very similar style to the other new sets at Sky Studios, most notably the new Soccer Saturday set.

Has it been said what on-track coverage they will be having yet?
I'm guessing it will all be from the London studio (apart from the pitwalk) unlike the BBC's coverage with Jake et al in tow at the actual circuit?

I think the main presenter Simon Lazenby will be travelling to all the circuits and leading the coverage from there, but I'm not sure whether they will be in an actual studio on site or walking around like Jake and guests do on the BBC.

See the Georgie and Ted video. Looks as though the races, practice sessions and qualifying will all be live from the locations, but the midweek and non-race weekend programming will be from the London studio.
Ted Kravitz will be presenting the magazine show on Fridays and will be reporting in the pitlane, so I presume that will also be on location as well.

Agreed. At least back in the 2008-branding era the programme-specific idents actually were more than just a piece of random footage with a logo stuck on top.
