Wha? The Christmas ident they've used the last 3 years was lovely.

I didn't say they weren't, just this year's might be generic. Generic doesn't have to mean boring.

Up to yesterday I wasn't expecting much from Sky1's new Christmas idents, but after seeing the effort put into Sky Movies Christmas idents, I think they might make a nice ident for a change.

But the Sky Movies idents are brilliant, and theirs is simply a Christmas version of the current presentation, if we apply the same logic to sky 1, it will be interesting. I hope that they've at least wheeled the one & placed thes 2 somewhere rather than just being Christmas footage with the logo on top.

Does anyone know when Sky1 could launch its Christmas presentation? In 2008 It launched on Saturday the 6th. Does anyone remember the dates when they launched their Christmas presentation in 2009 and 2010?

First Saturday of December, if we're going by recent history.

They've already got the Christmas tree up in the golf studio.

Sky1 and Sky2 have launched their Christmas presentation, just the normal break bumpers but with sparkles around it. No Christmas idents.

Sky1, Sky2, Sky Living, Sky Livingit, Sky Living loves, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 2 are all now using Christmas stings. Pick TV is not using any Christmas presentation.

Thought Sky1 would have been guaranteed a festive variation; it wouldn't have been very good mind but still seems like an oversight.

Possible that the 3rd of December might be considered a bit too early?
