Does anyone know what agency created the new Sky1 and Sky2 idents?

It's been a long time coming but I think they've finally found a successor to the "Falling Ladies" from the late 90s. Outstanding.

Are there shorter edits or is the full 55s always played out?

They're good but not that good - that was a classic.

You get the feeling they couldn't really be arsed, don't you? Laughing

It'll probably come off on screen in an alrightish-Channel One-meh sort of way with the chevron device to work with.

Notice the chevron in the K makes the TV enclosed in some kind of hexagon thingy.

They've perfected the art of highlighting which channels are priorities (I notice Challenge's pres is still playing out in a horribly wrong aspect ratio), although in a strange way I quite like the above as it reminds me of a time when idents didn't have to be elaborate metaphors, just simple logo animations.

Could have at least splurged on some fitting music though.

Every expense spared, then!

The promos highlighting programmes on other Sky channels look better than the ident for PICK TV; which I suppose is the whole point.

Actually, I rather like that PickTV ident.

I don't think they have masters of the Challenge package; the whole IPP sequence and DOG are screwed (and certainly don't interact like they used to).

For that reason, I actually like this ident. I caught the Sky3 version only a few days ago for the first time and I thought it was actually better than Sky1's and Sky2's.
