Sky's Branding

I agree, perhaps, with the Atlantic ident, but the Sky 1/2 ones have clear interaction with the 'real elements'.

I actaully dislike 'real video' idents, unless they are done very well.

I would much prefer the Sky1/2/3 idents from 2005 because they were entirely CGI.

I'm finding the tune to the new Sky1/2 idents getting stuck in my head now. Probably a sign I should stop watching so much Sky1.

Having finally had a chance to see the new look channels, I have to say, Sky Atlantic's presentation is just superb. Really slick, atmospheric and grown-up, it really works well. Sky Living is really good as well, Sky 1 unfortunately is pretty poor.

Trailer style looks good across the channels, as do the little pre-ident 'coming up' bits and the ECPs.

Not seen much of the other new Sky branding yet, but agree about the Sky Atlantic idents. Heavenly have done a great job on this. Very slick.

Only just noticed yesterday that unusually the DOGs on the SD versions of the rebranded channels are nearer to the corner of the screen than on the HD channels. Seems a bit odd, as normally it's the other way round for obvious reasons.

Venturethree have apparently posted something about their "new work on the Sky channel brand portfolio" on their website, but it doesn't want to load for me... Can anyone access it?
