It appears that Bravo2 left a "Doesn't Do Regret" breakbumper on air for 14 minutes before cutting off. Nice bit of serendipity from automatic playout or was this arranged by Red Bee I wonder?
Just had a very quick look through the Challenge schedule for next week, the only real change I spotted was Sky's Bitesize Brainiac being used as a filler in place of Auntie's Bloomers.
It looks like Challenge is going to Freeview in it's present form which is quite disappointing and I can only assume temporary.
I expect Sky1 quiz shows will eventually make their way over (Gladiators, Sell Me the Answer, Are You Smarter, Don't Forget the Lyrics). The wrestling stuff Bravo2 used to show is also going on after midnight.
In terms of actual acquisitions... I'm not hopeful. But on the other hand, the content they have will no doubt be popular for a little while, Freeview audiences that might not have seen the Crystal Maze in years for example might tune in, it could even become 'default' viewing like Friends or The Simpsons.
Does anyone know whether Red Bee are still responsible for playout?
Let the Stories Begin, the Sky Atlantic launch programme, is being shown on 7 different channels (Sky 1, Sky 2, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts 1, Living, Living it and Living loves).
I know Sky have been going a bit OTT with the promotion of Sky Atlantic, but is this really necessary? Sky 1, Sky Atlantic and Living will be next to each other on the EPG, as will Sky 2 and Living Loves.
This must be a record for a UK TV simulcast (excluding BBC1 and ITV of course).
Ever since Tuesday, I am pretty sure it appeared before a break during Futurama, which I thought was weird, normally it is shown when you re join. Perhaps its in a 'show it as much as possible' mode
