Pick TV sounds a bit cheap and now doesn't have the Sky Branding, unless its' 'Sky Pick' which would be better.
I think the idea of the channel is better for Freeview.

So how will this channel work then?
Do we "pick" what we want to see or is it just called that as it shows a mix of programmes from the old Virgin Media owned channels? Suppose thats another reason why there isn't the Sky name attached to it?
Doesn't appear that the content will be changing much from Sky 3 (I suppose it might pick up one or two things from Channel One) and while the name Pick TV isn't great, at least it makes a bit more sense for Freeview viewers without Sky 1 & Sky 2.

I wonder what the future holds for Sky 2.
Sky1+1 is rumoured, whether that'd replace Sky 2 or not I don't know. It gets absolutely no cross-promotion (even self-promotion really) though.
I guess that blue Sky 3 logo will never actually get aired then? It was just shoved together for the purpose of that document?
Surely the real story is that Sky seems to not want to use the "Sky" brand on Freeview (Sky News itself aside)? Are we to assume that the experiment of using Sky 3 to lure customers into Sky itself hasn't worked, so now they're just renaming the slot to something else? Seems more than a coincidence that it's all happening around the same time that Sky Atlantic is launching and Living gets rebranded.
A return of "Sky Mix" might have been more appropriate but I guess the motive is to abolish the connection between the Sky brand and Freeview, barring Sky News.
